Our biggest seller, these 5-6 yard kilts reflect a fairly accurate picture of those worn from around 1850 to 1900. We have incorporated into our kilt the various construction elements that were employed at various time during this period.
All of these kilts have a waistband and a high quality lining.
There are no straps, buckles or fringe. They are held on by the wearers own belt or a straight pin. The pleats are of course sewn in and pleated to stripe.
The top of the line version is made from 13-16 oz. kilting tartan from Scotland. These kilts are constructed to provide a lifetime of wear.
