love the site! I was wondering about the BraveHeart movie. I really love that movie but was wondering if the garments they wore were historically correct??

Braveheart kilts not historically accurate in any way. No tartan at that time, let alone clan tartan. Kilts of any type also not worn until over 300 years later. The Scots would have been wearing garments similar to those of the Irish mercenaries shown in the film.
